• We currently have more than 1,800 acres in Minnesota and 1500 acres on the West Coast, devoted to the production of bareroot deciduous trees, shrubs, evergreens, vines and perennials.
• Propagated stock is planted and grown for one to four years, depending on the variety, to the sizes desired for sales.
• The digging process begins when plants become dormant in the fall. Plants are then immediately transported to our cold storage facilities where they are sorted, graded and bundled over the winter months in preparation for spring shipping.
• Products grown at our West Coast Division include ornamental trees, fruit trees, shrubs and roses with the majority marked for bareroot sales. Between our farms in Minnesota, Oregon, Washington and Iowa more than 1800 varieties are produced annually for distribution to customers nationwide.
