All great plants start with a quality root system and Bailey Nurseries' propagation is second to none.
In 1982, we centralized our Minnesota propagation operations at one location, the Nord farm, in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Here over 4.5 million tree and shrub seedlings are grown each year in our outdoor seedbeds.
In addition, 22 acres of poly-house and gutter-connect green houses at Nord are used to house over 10 million evergreen, ornamental hardwood and softwood cuttings that are rooted each year for sales and for our own propagation requirements.
We send you - our customers - the very same plants we use ourselves for propagation, only the best.
Our Yamhill Oregon propagation facility currently has more than 10 acres of greenhouse space, where over 5 million cuttings are grown ever year. And in the 15 acres of seedbeds, 2.2 million seedlings are produced annually.
